Funny

Very entertaining cartoon. I have taken a look at a bunch of reviews and I'd like to address a few things.

1) The guy who said something about species not being a hard thing, there is no 100% chicken or 99.9999 etc. % chicken, is right. Evolution happens very slowly, and it's impossible to state when it's a chicken or not a chicken. You can only look at focils and say "well that's DEFINATELY not a chicken".

2) There was a guy who said that this cartoon doesn't answer the question, just diverts it. Now which came first, the chicken-like creature, or the egg? And the answer is the egg... again. Another bird like creature hatched the egg, making the chicken-like creature. And where did this bird come from? Another bird. And where did that oen come from? Another type of bird. Keep going far back enough and eventually you get to dinosaurs. Bird evolved from dinosaurs.

So which came first the dinosaur or the egg? THe egg... it just keeps going back until the dinosaurs go back to the ocean, the ocean creatures get smaller and smaller, and eventually, you get a creature who mutated in some strange way to allow it's baby to develope outside it's own body in an egg. So eventually, a creature does come before the egg.

3) Someone mentioned that they don't understand how humans came from monkies. That's because humans didn't come from monkies. It's a misconception. Humans were never monkies. Ever. We were never gorillas, we were never apes. We just had a common ancestor. At one point, before there were humans or monkies, there was one species who gave birth to several (put simply, this happened over millions of years).

As for those who are religious and do not believe in evolution... I really dont' understand what there you don't believe in. Isn't it possible that God set up evolution? Perhaps God started the whole chain of events, and made sure it led to humans. Perhaps Adam and Eve were the first humans created (at least, by whatever standard God uses for humans).

Religion and science can merge very easily if you change "God did it" to "God set it up."

Anyway, with that said and done, I very much enjoyed your movie.

Now we are talking!

Recently (well, more than recently) there has been an outburst of Mario out takes. Some were really funny. However yours is, at least in my mind, different. THe amount of custom sprites that went into this payed off. Now the fart jokes got pretty old pretty past. But other than that, brilliant. I applaud you.

Good

This is based on the "Good Idea, Bad Idea" skits on Animaniacs, isn't it? Man, that was a good show...

Uh... what?

Well... seeing "Hebrew Gymnasia" I was expecting a lot of Jewish humour... other than it taking place in Isreal... and the manora on the top of the school... and it taking place in tel aviv... i mean, none of these are really jokes. I was expecting Jewish Humour! Not a little comedy taking place in a Jewish City! It was a major let down for me, being Jewish. It could have just as easily taken place in US or Canada, and been exactly the same. Add some good Jewish jokes, and make it worthy to the title.

ReporterClock responds:

Yes, well, in case you haven't figured out, this si based on real people and places. my school is called the hebrew Gymnasia Hertselia. It has a menorah on the roof, and is in Tel aviv, and It's not my fualt that nto everythign here revolves around us being Jewish.

Nice one

Wow, you are truely an artist. I'm not talking about animation. But the movie itself is probably one of the most artisict, spiritual movies yet to appear on newgrounds. Bravo.

Good song... however,

I know a lot of people who would make a movie with "democrats" in the name instead. Although i see the humour in this, it's also very hipocritical. I see reviews before mine saying "lets kill republicans". If that statement was simply SAID by a republican, you would be on his tail extremely fast.

Oh and by the way, Kerry is quite rich himself, being married into the Heinz (the ketchup, that's right) family.

Funny movie, but

Incorrect. Contrary to popular belief, milk does not prevent osteoporosis. In fact, osteoporosis is more common in countries which drink very little milk. This has a scientific explanation.

Although Milk does have a lot of calcium, for one, the obsorsion rate is only 30%. On top of this, it contains a lot more protein that it does calcium. Protein takes away calcium from your bones. It does theis because it changes the pH of your blood, and to balance it out, it takes the calcium from your bones. Protein is like the acid rain to your bones.

Now, protein is not unhealthy, it's quite good for you, however, milk contains too much. In order to have good, strong healthy bones, you need to be intaking equal amounts (or as equal as possible) of calcium and protein. When you eat meat and drink milk, you take in way too much protein, causing your bones to become weak.

In countries, like China, where dairy is used very very very little, osteoporosis is practicly unheard of.

RedMongoose responds:

this is one of the best reviews ive ever gotten on anytthing

As a jew...

I found that EXTREMLY funny! "Shabot Shalom". I was just like "what the heck?" Ha ha ha ha ha! Boy that was great!

heh... he.. HA HA HA HA HA

Man, you have the exact kind of humour I love. This isn't just in reference to your movie, but I just spent the last 20 minutes reading over all your replies to people's comments. The movie was extremly well done and you should be proud of the great work. I would like to see you do more, perhaps more wink? (I love that little guy) How old is Priscilla? I know your married, but to tell you the truth she looks extremly young. I would almost say 16, or 17. Anyway, in conclusion, movie was good, drugs and alcohol is bad (alcohol is fine when drunk responcibly) and now lets all get some well deserved Lemon Morange pie. Yumm...

Dustball responds:

Thanks, I'm glad you liked the movie and my replies. I'm not telling you Priscilla's age... but no, she is not 16 or 17, don't worry. And BTW Wink, is gel's character, I just do the music for him!

Oh god..

Look man, I havn't cried in years. I'm tearing up and about to cry now. I see the perspective of both of them. The kid, missing her daddy, nevering seeing him again. But what gets me more is the Dad. Missing all the things the child is talking about. Swimming, kindergarten. I'm seriously close to tears. Powerful. Really powerful.
